A 22-year-old is facing charges after several vehicles in the east end of Fort Frances were entered illegally.

Provincial police say the incidents occurred in the areas of 5th Street East and 2nd Street East.

OPP say multiple vehicles were broken into between the evening hours on August 11 and early morning hours on August 12.

That prompted a request from police for homeowners to check their security cameras to identify a suspect.

OPP announced on social media Tuesday afternoon that a suspect was taken into custody.
