A section of Highway 11/17 is fully closed just west of the Harbour Expressway due to a vehicle fire.

The Ministry of Transportation announced the closure just after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the provincial police, the roadway is closed between Twin City Crossroad and the Harbour Expressway as of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

The provincial police are asking residents to avoid the area.

Traffic delays should be expected in the area.
