There have been some changes to beloved characters lately. Disney is the latest, who announced on Tuesday that Minnie Mouse will be temporarily swapping her trademark red polka dot dress for a stylish pantsuit designed by Stella McCartney.

It’s to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Disneyland Paris park. Some were up in arms, including political commentator Candace Owens.

That might be blowing things out of proportion, but Maren Morris was all for it and wrote, “Let Minnie Mouse wear a damn pantsuit”, and shared a couple of pics of her in a green pantsuit on social media.

Well with that change how about a pair of pants for Donald Duck or Winnie the Pooh. Just sayin.
