One lane of the Trans-Canada between Kenora and Vermilion Bay is open again.

It was closed for about an hour due to a police investigation.

An eyewitness says there has been a collision involving an OPP cruiser and a truck.

Highway 17 was closed about 1:30 Saturday afternoon.

No other details about the closure have been released.
