A New Brunswick business is helping to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tony’s Bistro and Pâtisserie in Moncton began making jersey and baseball-shaped cookies.

“Yeah, we’ve all hopped on the train and everyone’s kind of obsessed with the Blue Jays right now. I’m a huge sports fan, and so is my dad, Tony. We have some fantastic pastry chefs who have a lot of skill when it comes to cookie decorating. We figured, why not get some Blue Jays cookies on the go? “Chef Jordan Holden told our newsroom.

The day before the first game of the World Series, as the Toronto Blue Jays were preparing to battle the Los Angeles Dodgers, Holden texted their pastry chef, Emily and asked if she could do up a few trays really quickly.

“I think we made 24 and we posted them online and they were gone in around half an hour. So we started scrambling to make another hundred or so,” Holden adds.
