The City of Saint John is currently experience a technical outage affecting various customer service functions.
A release from the city just before 9:30 a.m. Monday said the disruption has resulted in the following:
- The city cannot process payments over the phone
- Billing inquiries and account lookups are temporarily unavailable
- Some in-person payments may be accepted, but service is limited
The city is encouraging residents to make payments online where possible.
For services that can’t be completed online, the city recommends calling back or visiting once full service is restored.
An update will be provided when services are fully restored.
