Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to shuffle his cabinet later Monday.

The move follows the resignation of former Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault, last week.

Guilbeault stepped down after Carney signed a memorandum of understanding with Alberta for a pipeline agreement.

According to the prime minister’s office, there will be swearing in ceremony at Rideau Hall at 3 p.m. ET.

The shuffle will be small and meant to cover Guilbeault’s portfolio.
