Thunder Bay Solid Waste & Recycling Services is changing its waste collection dates over the holiday season, with many collection days planned to occur one day earlier.

Waste collection in Area 1, which would normally be scheduled for collection on Tuesdays (December 23 and 30), is instead taking place on Mondays (December 22 and 29).

In Area 2, which is normally scheduled for Wednesdays (December 24 and 31), collection will take place on Tuesdays (December 23 and 30).

Area 3, which normally has waste collected on Thursdays (December 25 and January 1), will get its waste collected on Wednesdays (December 24 and 31).

Area 4, which has its waste collected on Fridays (December 26 and January 2), has no changes to its schedule.
