Merry Christmas text

I came across this on social media the other day, and I want to share it with you.  It’s quite fitting as we sit here on Christmas Eve. It’s called the “IT’S NOT MUCH” theory:

Before you head out with that little gift bag or tin of cookies…you know the one. You hand it over and say, “It’s not much, but…”

Let me stop you right there.

If you built it, baked it, painted it, crafted it, or even just picked it out with me in mind—out of 8 billion people—you chose me? That’s not….“not much.” That’s everything.

So this season, let’s flip the script. Instead of “It’s not much,” how about:  “I thought of you, and that’s a lot.”

Because the truth is, the thoughtfulness is the gift. And in this world that moves fast…slowing down to care? That’s the real magic.

So go ahead—drop off that tin of shortbread cookies. Leave that handmade card. And say it proud: “This is for you, because you matter.”

Let’s make this season about meaning, not price tags.
