The perfect way to ring in the New Year.

Fifty polar plungers leaped into Palmers Pond on January 1 in Dorchester.

Many onlookers gathered around to see and cheer them on.

Over $1400 was raised for various community initiatives.

The Greater Moncton Moving Forward Co-op and Fire Department organized the 34-year-old annual event.
