A winter storm moving through the province is prompting numerous cancellations and closures today as road and weather conditions deteriorate.

• Halifax Regional Centre for Education — schools and worksites closed

• Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education — schools and worksites closed

• Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education — schools and worksites closed

• South Shore Regional Centre for Education — closed

• Tri-County Regional Centre for Education — closed

• Conseil scolaire acadien provincial — select closures, including Rose-des-Vents in Greenwood

• Sacred Heart School of Halifax — closed

• Armbrae Academy — closed

• Halifax Grammar School — closed

Universities & Community Colleges

• Acadia University — campus closed, in-person classes cancelled

• Nova Scotia Community College — all campuses closed

 

Other Closures

• Provincial government offices closed for the day
