The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating after a plane crash in Bangor, Maine.
The FAA says the airport closed Sunday night after a Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed during takeoff.
The City of Bangor posted to social media that emergency crews were responding to an incident involving an aircraft.
Reports state that the plane flipped over.
This happened during heavy snowfall in Maine. The state is currently under winter storm warnings, and a foot of snow had already fallen in some areas by Sunday night.
There’s no word on whether or not the weather was a factor in the crash.
