The Yarmouth Mariners are saying goodbye to four graduating players this weekend.
Goaltender Keegan Warren’s career saw him win a title with Yarmouth in 2023 as a back-up to Joey Lovullo.
The following season, the Conception Bay South, Newfoundland native went to play for the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL.
Warren returned to the Mariners crease in January, 2025, and hasn’t missed much action since.
When reflecting on his journey in Junior hockey says it’s hard to believe it’s coming to an end.
“I wish we could have delivered a playoff run for the fans this season. We gave it our all, we have a great group of guys in that dressing room. I wouldn’t want to finish it off anywhere else,” said Warren.

Warren’s final year was a busy one, he has the most minutes and shots faced in the MHL this season.
He says it’s meant a lot to him to be a Mariner.
“The fans have supported me for four years of my life now. I want to give back to them, and this will all come full circle with two big wins in the Fishtank this weekend.”
Warren says he’s weighing his options on his hockey future, and will decide what is the best fit for him.
The Mariners will host Valley Saturday and Amherst Sunday in their season finale.
