Brandon Harrison is from Calgary, and he’s in Thunder Bay today (August 2) for a book signing.

It’s set for today (August 2), Lot 66, from 5pm-7pm.  He’s there to share his story about cancer, and claiming his life back.
It started when he was just 2 years old.  Brandon was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.  Over the course of several years, he had strokes, which impaired his vision and more.

BUT, later in life, he said “‘I can and will change my life for the better’.  He decided to longboard across Canada, and that’s exactly what he did.  Brandon raised money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and Coast To Coast Against Cancer Foundation.  He details his journey / his story in a book called “LONG FOR LIFE”.
