When the Rotary Santa Claus Parade happens, this usually signals the ‘official’ start of the holiday season in Thunder Bay.

So…..let’s get ready, because that all starts TOMORROW.

The annual Rotary Santa Claus Parade starts at 10am Saturday. It’s been a tradition in our city for years, and draws anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 people lining the streets to check out the floats and of course, Santa Claus and Mrs Claus.

It’s all about community spirit, supporting local organizations and an overall “family-fun event”.   If your organization has a float in this years parade – congrats! It takes a lot of work / and prep to get it ready. Thanks for being a part of it.

Parade route: 10am, leaving the parking lot of The Real Canadian Superstore. It’ll make its way along Memorial Ave and finish in the parking lot of The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.

Find your spot along the route with the family, and friends……..and let’s kick off the HOLIDAY SEASON in Thunder Bay. (this year, Mother Nature doesn’t have snow for the parade, LOL). ENJOY, and most importantly: have fun, and say HI TO SANTA!
