Arnold H. McLeod is closed today, due to concerns about a message received by school administration.
“The school administration received a message this morning around 7 am that contained some concerning information. The admin called the District and the RCMP, and out of an abundance of care and caution, since the students and most staff had not arrived at the building yet, ” Anglophone East School District Spokesperson Stephanie Patterson told our newsroom in an email.
She says they decided to close the school and reroute the buses that were on their way to the school to the school evacuation site with staff.
“We expect the school will be open as usual tomorrow,” Patterson added.
No further details have been released yet.
RCMP are investigating.
