Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) announced on Wednesday that they have identified and arrested a suspect in relation to the homicide at 1010 Dawson Road on September 30.

The accused has been charged with second-degree murder.

The investigation was conducted by the city’s Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting an injured male on the evening of September 30 in the area around the Landmark Hotel.

The male was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not revealed the identity of the victim.
