St. Francis School is under a hold and secure after a bear was spotted in the area.

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board announced the safety measure before 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

St. Vincent School was also placed under a shelter-in-place order on Thursday morning, which has since been lifted.
