A sudden death is under investigation after city police got word about a body in the Kaministiquia River.

Officers were called to Simpson Street near the entrance to the Kam River Heritage Park just after ten o’clock Saturday morning.

They say the victim appears to be an adult man, and has not been identified yet.

Police are guarding the scene while they investigate and are asking you to stay clear of the area.
