A boil water advisory has been issued in Inverness.

The municipality says it’s due to a water main break and resulting low pressure in the system.

Customers are advised to bring tap water to a rolling boil and maintain for at least one minute.

Cool water before using for drinking, preparing infant formulas, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing beverages and food.
