The Town of Red Lake has issued a boil water advisory.

That’s because of what they call and infrastructure failure within the reservoirs of the Cochenor Water Treatment Plant.

The town says it can’t guarantee the safety of the drinking water at this time.

All water from the taps should be boiled for one minute if it’s being used for human consumption.

The advisory is going to remain in place until it’s rescinded.
