The health unit reporting more cases at another local school.

Westgate CVI has two positive cases of Covid-19.

In a written statement the TBDHU said;

Lakehead Public Schools is actively working with the TBDHU to investigate and manage any potential exposures in the school…

Anyone else in the school setting who is not specifically contacted by public health would not be considered at elevated risk because of this situation at this time. The full investigation will continue to unfold over the next few days. Additional measures and actions will be taken as needed to manage the situation.

This is in addition to the cases reported at St Ann Elementary, Ecole Gron Morgen and St Ignatius High School this week.
