The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board will be communicating any positive test information.

This will only be done as a short term measure and only those affected will be contacted.

Staff or families of students who choose to self report a positive rapid test or PCR test will have their information kept confidential and notifying the school is on a voluntary basis only.

In a release, the board noted that school officials would not be conducting contact tracing.

At time of publishing, Acadia News has reached out to Lakehead Public School Board on if they will be following suit.
