Fire crews are on scene of a commercial fire in Bedford.

Halifax Professional Fire Fighters say they received the call at around 8:30 a.m., Sunday, for a fire at a businesses in a strip mall on Hogan Court.

In a post on social media the union says it is the equivalent of an “above third alarm in both personnel and apparatus”.

At about 11 a.m., the union says they are making “steady progress” under “challenging conditions”.

“Coverage across the municipality is limited due to the significant resources committed to this incident,” says the union.

No word at this time on any injuries or damage.
