A 35-year-old Thunder Bay man was arrested after an investigation into the possession of child pornography.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crime Unit began the investigation in June, 2021 after they were made aware a local internet user uploaded files associated with child pornography.
This lead to police searching a home on Kenwood Avenue.
They took multiple electronic devices, police saying at least one containing child pornography.
Adam Leslie McDonald was taken into custody early Friday morning, and is charged with possession of child pornography.
He appeared in bail court, and was released with conditions and a future day in court.
