A chimney fire at Brothers Meats on Agricola Street.

Halifax Fire says it happened this morning, and there is minimal structural damage.

They say it started in the fryer and went into the chimney.

A section of the road is closed as firefighters continue to work at the scene.

Halifax Police ask people to avoid the area if possible.
