The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) has sent a notice to Lakehead Public Schools about another COVID-19 infection.

It is associated with Gorham & Ware Community School, and an investigation is underway to manage any potential exposures at the location.

The TBDHU will be identifying those considered a contact of the individual, and parents or caregivers will be notified if their child is impacted. Along with this, any teachers, staff, or visitors of the school will be contacted directly.

At this time, the school will remain open.

A full investigation will unfold over the next few days, and any additional measures or actions will be taken to manage the situation.
