Emergency crews with Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services  have now cleared the scene of a scene collision east of Thunder Bay.

According to a social media post by SFES, crews were initially called out for a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 11/17 near McKenzie Heights Road at 10:00 a.m.

However, upon arrival it was discovered two vehicles had collided at the intersection.

The highway was not closed as a result of the incident with crews clearing the scene just before 11:30 a.m.
