A dangerous man with a machete at large in Musquodoboit Harbour.

RCMP sent an emergency alert around 8:15 p.m., Tuesday. Residents are asked to stay inside and lock their doors and windows.

He is described as 6 feet with brown hair and brown eyes.

The man was last seen on foot in the woods near 46 Petpeswick Rd.

Police ask you do not pick up hitch hikers.
