In a statement released Wednesday, Bill Dell said he believes life can get better living in Northwestern Ontario.
“We have been hit hard by inflation, but we have no voice that can change the direction of the Provincial or Federal Governments,” Dell said. “We can stop the 2.5 per cent annual property tax increase in Thunder Bay, which is a 10 per cent increase over four years. This is out of control. The only options that are presently offered is to decrease services to decrease taxes. I think there is one more option, change the way we do things.”
The 30-year resident of Thunder Bay added that he will be accountable, approachable and will say what needs to be said without being politically correct.
