Thunder Bay’s Medical Officer of Health is unwavering in her backing of a move to Step Two of Ontario’s Roadmap To Reopen plan.

“I would be supportive of that,” answered Doctor Janet DeMille when put on the spot Wednesday. “July 2 is a little over a week away, so that still follows the framework that they’ve laid out. Based on the numbers in the Thunder Bay District, that would be okay by me.”

The Wednesday numbers include a second consecutive day of no new cases and just nine active ones.
