Happy birthday to Dolly Parton! The country music icon turns 77 today and the Grand Ole Opry is honoring her with two shows Saturday, January 21 at the Ryman Auditorium. As usual Dolly is always busy with something, like her line of Duncan Hines treat mixes. She also put out a new song to celebrate her birthday. It’s called Don’t Make Me Come Down There which she said came to her in a dream.

Dolly is continuing to work on her first ever rock album, one she wanted to release for being inducted this year into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It’s expected in the fall and features Paul McCartney, Cher, Stevie Nicks and Elton John among others. Simply called Rock Star, she gave the crowd at the Hall induction a sneak preview.

All Hail the Queen of country!
