Nova Scotia Health is alerting the public after a cluster of suspected opioid poisonings in Cole Harbour.
NSH says a number of substances were reported to have been used Sunday, October 15th and Monday, October 16th, by multiple groups.
This includes MDMA, dilaudid, cocaine and “liquid xanax”.
In a release Monday, RCMP warned about the use of illicit drugs after a youth from Cole Harbour died of a suspected overdose, Sunday and three others were taken to hospital.
Over the course of October 15 and 16, 2023 there have been a cluster of suspected opioid poisonings in Cole Harbour.
A number of substances were reported to have been used by multiple groups of people which resulted in poisonings.
