Two people, one from Thunder Bay and one from Toronto, are in custody after police used a search warrant on Tuesday.

Officers entered the Secord Street home after an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking, finding crack cocaine.

When police arrived the male suspect tried to flee the area, but officers were able to arrest him after a brief struggle.

The female suspect was also found inside the home and was arrested as well.

The house has been the subject of three search warrants in the last year, previous searches also leading to numerous drug charges.

Both accused were in bail court Wednesday, and will remain in custody until future court appearances.
