Thunder Bay Police arrested three men after a traffic stop Tuesday.

Police observed a car turning onto Cumberland Street, but failing to stay centered in their lane leading to officers pulling over the vehicle to check whether the driver was sober.

During the stop it was found the driver and two passengers had what police believe is crack cocaine, cash, and a loaded gun.

Two of the men were arrested without any issues, though a brief struggle happened to arrest the third.

After being transferred to Thunder Bay Police Service Headquarters, it was discovered one of the accused had what officers think is fentanyl.

All three appeared in bail court Wednesday, and future court dates have yet to be determined.

 

Robert Guy CRNKOVIC, 35, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Possession of Firearm/ Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
• Possession of Prohibited/ Restricted Firearm
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Possession of Firearm Knowledge its Possession is Unauthorized
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm without a Licence
• Careless Transportation of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle

Shayne FORREST, 18, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Failure to Comply with Release Order
• Obstruct Peace Officer
• Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Possession of Firearm with Knowledge its Possession is Unauthorized
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm without a Licence
• Possession of Prohibited/ Restricted Firearm with Ammunition

Nehemiah YORDANOS, 24, of Toronto is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Careless Transportation of a Firearm
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Possession of a Firearm with Knowledge its Possession is Unauthorized
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm without a Licence
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
• Possession of a Prohibited/ Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
