Now that election campaigns are officially under way, voters can start thinking about who they want at Queen’s Park to best represent them and their interests.
Elections Ontario has offices set up across the province. For the electoral district of Thunder Bay-Superior North, there is a returning office in the County Fair Mall, plus two other satellite locations in Geralton and Marathon.
Julio Gomes is the Returning Officer for Thunder Bay-Superior North electoral district he detailed that there will be 10 advance polling days this year. While not all the advance days will be consecutive, they will be available to electors between May 19 and May 28.
Those who require a special ballot will be able to cast their vote as early at May 5th.
During the advance polling days, voters can vote at any polling station in the riding (ie you’re from Thunder Bay but are in Nipigon and decide to vote, yes you can vote there) all that’s required is some government ID.
On election day, June 2, you’ll only be allowed to vote at your assigned polling station.
