A missing Halifax man’s sister is appealing to the public to help find him.

It’s reported 48-year-old Steve Corkum was last seen leaving QEII Emergency Tuesday around 6 a.m.

Police and Ground Search and Rescue have combed the Dalhousie University and Point Pleasant Park areas.

Natacha Corkum Provost posted on Facebook Friday morning that the search has been suspended until they have a lead or sighting from the public, and that all possible leads will be investigated.

In a release Tuesday, Nova Scotia Health said, “The patient requires medication on a set schedule and the risk to himself increases with the length of time he is away from treatment.”

Contact police at 902-490-5020 if you have information on Corkum’s whereabouts or video from the area.
