Federal Liberals will name a new leader this weekend.
Eligible party supporters have been casting ballots since last Wednesday.
Voting will conclude on Sunday at 3 p.m. Eastern (2 p.m. Central), with the winning candidate to be announced later that afternoon.
Four candidates are in the running, with former Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney and former Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland considered the frontrunners.
Frank Baylis, a former Montreal-area MP and Ontario MP Karina Gould are also in the running.
The leadership race was brought upon by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision in January to resign and prorogue the House of Commons amidst declining popular support and pressures from some Liberal MPs.
The transfer of power to the new leader has yet to be determined.
The House of Commons is set to resume on March 27th.
