The Kam River Fighting Walleye have won their first game at the Centennial Cup in Calgary.

The Walleye edged the Trenton Golden Hawks 2-1 in overtime.

Daxton Lang scored the game winner 4 minutes and 29 seconds in OT.

Kam River has a day off before meeting the Grand Prairie Storm Sunday night.
