The final person found guilty in the death of Lee Chiodo has been sentenced.
David Hui has been sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder, and 15 years for aiding and abetting in Chiodo’s kidnapping. The sentences will be served concurrently.
Lee Chiodo was kidnapped and brought to Mission Island where he was murdered in February 2019.
Two others accused in the case have been sentenced.
Musab Saboon was found guilty of first degree murder as well as kidnapping and given a life sentences for both charges. Saboon won’t be eligible for parole for 25 years.
Marshall Hardy-Fox pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to murder and kidnapping, and sentenced to five years eight months in jail.
The gun used has never been recovered.
