Wildfire crews in New Brunswick continue to work on containing multiple fires across the province.
The Department of Natural Resources reported 16 active wildfires on Saturday at 9:45 a.m.
Ten are being patrolled, four are contained, and two remain out of control.
The out-of-control fires include the Beaver Lake Stream fire, located west of Red Bank, which has burned 238 hectares.
The other one is the Rocky Brook fire, located northwest of Bathurst, which is currently at 184 hectares.
The Oldfield Road fire near Miramichi, which had been a major concern earlier in the week, remains contained at 1,400 hectares.
All recreational activities on Crown land remain prohibited, and the province-wide fire ban is still in effect.
Authorities continue to remind residents to stay informed and follow all restrictions to help prevent new wildfires.
