No injuries have been reported so far but an investigation is underway into the cause of a fire at a seniors apartment complex in Dryden.

First responders were called to the complex on Van Horne Avenue Tuesday evening and thankfully fire crews were able to contain the fire to a single unit.

However, smoke filled the building’s corridors which prompted an evacuation, where residents were assisted by paramedics and able to shelter inside warm vehicles, while the building was ventilated.

No further details have been released at this time.
