We’re not out of the woods yet when it comes to forest fires.

Three are currently burning out of control,  the biggest in the Caanan Forks area.  It had burned around 50 hectares as of Monday morning.

Another near Pointe-Sapin has consumed around 40 hectares.

There’s another fire in the McAdam Parish area in the western part of the province, where half a hectare has burned.

A fourth fire was still burning out of control in the Saint Croix River area early Monday, but is now labelled by the province as contained.  1.5 hectares have burned in that fire.

New Brunswick’s forest fire season runs until October 31.
