George Strait took his classic Carrying Your Love With Me to number one on the country charts 25 years ago in 1997.

The song has been revived thanks to a change  by upcoming country artist David Morris, that adds rap to the mix and samples the chorus of Strait’s original tune, with the title Carrying Your Love.

The song became a big hit on TikTok with users including the song showing their love for pets or significant others. Morris is a big fan of Strait and says the song has a special place in his heart and that he took the proper legal steps to use that part of Strait’s classic. Some love it and some don’t. What is your favorite? One or both?
