Nothing goes better with another edition of Girl’s Night Out than it also being National Rosé Day!! This week Cairo and I talked about being able to sit out on a restaurant patio again as well as being able to shop for non essential items! We have also picked out a delicious chocolate cake cocktail for you this week! Let us know if you try it! COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: CHOCOLATE CAKE COCKTAIL
How to make:
Step 1: Get two plates fill one with a little bit with water and then add a layer of sugar to the other plate. Dip glass in water first then dip glass in the brown sugar until coated. Slice lemon into wedges and coat with sugar for garnish.
Step 2: Add ice, vodka or vanilla vodka and frangelico or hazelnut liquor.
Step 3: Fill the rest of the glass you can also squeeze a lemon slice into your cocktail or use on the side for garnish. Sip and enjoy!!
Ingredients:
Ice
2 Shots Vanilla Vodka
2 Shots Frangelico
Lemon
Sugar
RECIPE OF THE WEEK: BLOODY MARY PASTA
How to make the breadcrumbs:
Step 1: Bring a slightly oiled pan to heat on medium high. Add breadcrumbs and toast for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2: Stir in roughly chopped parsley to pan and add salt and pepper to taste. Transfer crumb topping to a bowl for later use.
How to make the pasta:
Step 1: Bring pan to medium high heat. add oil and onions and sauté for 4-6 minutes until translucent stirring occasionally.
Step 2: Add garlic, worchestire and Tobasco sauce to pan stir occasionally until sauce thickens and sticks to the back of a spatula.
Step 3: Add vodka and use a spatula to scrape the bottom of the pan deglazing it until the vodka has evaporated.
Step 4: Add the tomatoes and let boil for 15 – 20 minutes until sauce thickens to half.
Step 5. stir in cooked pasta and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with the a sprinkle of breadcrumb topping.
Step 3: Add in olives, vinegar, pepper and the gnocchi. Stir until warm and add oregano.

Breadcrumb topping:
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
hand bunch parsley roughly chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Pasta:
Pasta cooked
1/2 red onion diced
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp worchestire sauce or more to taste
2 tbsp Tobasco sauce or more to taste
1 can plum tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
