Today’s story – is short and sweet.  This is so great.

A retirement home in Halifax, launched a “Grandparent for a Day” program.  Basically – they invited local kids who don’t have grandparents nearby to come spend an afternoon with seniors. The response was huge!

They baked cookies, played cards, and shared stories. Staff say the seniors loved it, and the kids didn’t want to leave. 

One 9‑year‑old said, “I think I made a new best friend… and she’s 82.” 

This is proof:  that love doesn’t care about age — it just brings people together.
