A Halifax man is facing a list of child sexual abuse charges.

Police say it was in January when investigators learned that a man living in a home on Tower Road may be accessing child sex abuse material online.

After a search of his residence Tuesday morning, the 23-year-old was arrested.

He will appear in court Tuesday for these charges:

• possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
• accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
• distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
• making sexually explicit material available to a child
