More than 4,700 Nova Scotia Power customers in Halifax are without electricity this morning following an outage in the Fairmont and Bayers Lake areas.
The outage began shortly after 2 a.m. and was expected to last until about 11:15 a.m., according to the utility’s outage map.
Nova Scotia Power says the cause of the disruption is still under investigation.
Crews were dispatched to the scene early this morning to restore service, with progress expected through the morning hours.
