Synergy North is working to restore power to a few areas in Thunder Bay.

The utility company reported on Wednesday morning that just over 600 customers have been impacted by the outage affecting the areas of Red River Road, Whalen Street, Dublin Avenue, Blucher Avenue, Dawson Street and Robinson Drive.

Crews are on scene performing repairs that are expected to be completed by noon on Wednesday.

Hammarskjold High School and C.D. Howe Public School are both without power due to the outage.
