Hot and humid weather is expected to continue across parts of northwestern Ontario for the next couple of days.
A heat warning has been issued from the Thunder Bay area all the way west to Rainy River.
That includes Fort Frances, Emo, Seine River Village, Mine Centre, Atikokan, Shebandowan and Quetico Park.
Environment Canada said daytime highs around 30°C will feel more like the mid to upper 30s with the humidity.
A cooler air mass is expected to bring an end to the heat event on Friday evening.
However, the hot and humid weather is expected to last into Saturday for Thunder Bay and surrounding communities.
